Episode 196 - The Fender Jag-Stang

Kurt Cobain didn’t live long enough to see his guitar design into production, even though he did play a protoype of the Jag-Stang on Nirvana’s In Utero tour. In and out of production since 1995, The Jag-Stang has now reappeared in commemoration of the 30th anniversary of Nevermind, the Nirvana album that changed everything. Although we were in Seattle when grunge became some sort of marketing scheme for those who didn’t live here, we’ve tried to minimize the old man reminiscing and get straight to the matter - a fine new guitar from Fender.

Beverages!

Podcasting is thirsty work; it’s crucial that everyone involved stay hydrated. The following fine beverages contributed to the success of this episode: Ed brought Rambler - water in a can, all the way from Austin, Texas. Well, he bought it at the store, but someone brought it all the way here... Meanwhile, John tended to his electrolytes via the old standby, Gatorade. This week’s episode marks the debut of our brand new, original, handmade beverage song! It was recorded (a little bit) live in-studio. Hope you like it!
