Episode 178 - The Fender Rosewood Telecaster

In 1969 Fender enlisted our old pal Roger Rossmeisl to come up with something new - a guitar they could give to George Harrison of The Beatles. He created a chambered rosewood body in two halves, sandwiched around a thin strip of maple. The rest is history.

Beverages!

Podcasting is thirsty work; it’s crucial that everyone involved stay hydrated. The following fine beverages contributed to the success of this episode: Ed strayed from the straight and narrow juice path into quinine territory, via Fever Tree Premium Indian Tonic Water. John drank Roar Organic Georgia Peach juice. Very peachy. This week’s beverage intro song clip, performed (a little bit) live in-studio was Bang A Gong by T. Rex.
