Episode 253 - Ibanez 2680 Bob Weir

By the time the Hoshino family set up an Ibanez outpost in the US, they were already making some of the highest quality guitars America had seen in a while. In many cases, their copy instruments were better made than the originals. Which was problematic (for Gibson, anyway).

But when original Ibanez designs hit the market, they were something else altogether. One of the first artists to recognize this was Bob Weir of The Grateful Dead, after whom the model 2680 Bob Weir is named. Enjoy!
