Episode 77 - The Yamaha SG-5A
We’re taking a long hard look at a guitar affectionately known as “The Flying Samurai". This 1967 Yamaha SG-5A belonged to the first group of electric guitars the company ever made, and was designed mostly by committee. The Ventures were huge in Japan, spawning the ‘Eleki’ genre of instrumental music. There’s a lot to love about this instrument. Enjoy!
