Episode 174 - The Epiphone Emily Wolfe Sheraton Stealth

In 1958, just a year after purchasing the brand, Gibson introduced a new Epiphone guitar. The Sheraton was unveiled alongside the likes of the ES-335 and the Explorer. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan by the same craftspeople making its siblings, the Sheraton nonetheless boasted several features not available on those instruments. Eventually, these features were dropped, and production moved overseas. With the release of the Emily Wolfe Sheraton Stealth, however, there’s a little bit of 1958 in 2021.

Beverages!

Podcasting is thirsty work; it’s crucial that everyone involved stay hydrated. The following fine beverages contributed to the success of this episode: Ed was all up in the water for this episode. He had tap water AND a sparkling berry water, which he reported "tastes like berry flavor". John tackled another Orca Beverages classic - Frostie Cherry Limeade soda. There is some sort of frozen gnome guy on the label, which oddly makes it look a holiday beverage... This week’s beverage intro song clip, performed (a little bit) live in-studio was Something Better by Emily Wolfe.
