At the height of the “lawsuit” era, Ibanez was copying every guitar it could, and doing a thorough job of it, too. They even replicated a Gibson Moderne, and instrument that at the time had not even been produced. How’s that for commitment? The Ibanez 2469 Futura must have been seen as quite an odd duck, but like everything else the company was doing, it was very well made. Enjoy!
