Episode 242 - Ibanez Roadstar II Comet

In the early 1980s, right before hair bands poked a hole in the ozone layer, Ibanez jumped on the super strat train by introducing the Roadstar (RS) line of guitars. In this group of new instruments was the Comet series, comprised of brightly colored finishes. They only lasted a year, and the RS line was continued a year after that. Ibanez moved on to pointier pastures, but the Comet stands as a solid, affordable guitar. Enjoy!

Beverages!

Podcasting is thirsty work; it’s crucial that everyone involved stay hydrated. The following fine beverages contributed to the success of this episode: Ed brought a lovely NA Holiday beer by Klausthaller. It tasted like cinnamon and cranberries, which John liked. Ed did not, so he left the rest of it behind.
