Episode 255 - Gretsch TK 300
Shortly after buying Gretsch in the 1960s, the Baldwin Piano and Organ Company moved the entire operation from Brooklyn to Arkansas, and began looking for ways to compete against the solidbody instruments of the day. By 1978 their efforts had led them to the TK 300, a most unusual (for Gretsch) guitar. In our opinion, it looks like the best Brutalist architecture - common materials and minimal design. Enjoy!
Beverages!
Podcasting is thirsty work; it’s crucial that everyone involved stay hydrated. The following fine beverages contributed to the success of this episode: Ed is on a roll with Athletic Brewing NA beers. He should be; they're super tasty... John kept his electrolytes in balance with Gatorade.
