Episode 127 - The Gibson Trini Lopez
Trini Lopez was a superstar in the days when very few could claim the title. Fittingly discovered by Frank Sinatra, Trini played and recorded right up until his death from COVID-19 just this August. The guitar he designed was as distinctive as it was powerful; just ask Dave Grohl what he thinks of his. Please enjoy this look back at Trini’s legacy by way of his namesake guitar.

Beverages!
Podcasting is thirsty work; it’s crucial that everyone involved stay hydrated. The following fine beverage contributed to the success of this episode: The last of the Orca stash! We are forever grateful to our hero Jan at Orca Beverages for sending us a sampling of our favorite drinks. Our fingers are fervently crossed in hopes of someday working together again. Thanks!! Ed savored a Brownie Caramel Cream soda. John leaned into a Lemmy Sparkling Lemonade. This week’s beverage intro song clip, performed live in-studio (mostly) was Big Me by Foo Fighters. Ed played the guitar remotely, and John vocaled. #LetEdPlay
