Episode 213 - The 1983 Gibson Futura

Once upon a time, in the 1950s, Gibson created a prototype for a fancy new guitar shape. They called it the Futura. But by the time they’d re-worked it and changed a bunch of stuff, it ended up being called the Explorer. So what happened to that original Futura design? It would not be “reissued” until the 1990s, but in the intervening years, Gibson would use the Futura name. A lot. Enjoy!

Beverages!

Podcasting is thirsty work; it’s crucial that everyone involved stay hydrated. The following fine beverages contributed to the success of this episode: This week, Ed was back to his juicing regimen. Whatever-all he put in there, it must have been strong, because he was drinking it out of a flask... John had a Jarritos in a refreshing pineapple flavor. Because sometimes it's the simple things.
