Episode 246 - Kramer SM1-H with Nick Rogers of Dirty Haggard Audio

Our special guest for this episode is Nick Rogers. He is the evil genius behind some of the most distressing fuzz tones you’ve ever heard. The next time you need to strip some furniture, forget the chemicals; aim your amp at it and hit a Dirty Haggard Audio fuzz pedal. Job done. Nick tells us all about his pedal-building journey, and walks us through three of his creations - the Deathfuzz. the Gatekeeper, and the newest monstrosity, The Thing.

Of course, we had to choose our guitar wisely, so as not to accidentally melt it when we plugged it in, so we grabbed a sturdy shredder, the Kramer SM1-H. Sporting one pickup, one knob, a Floyd Rose trem and the truth, we liked what we heard, and no instruments were harmed. Enjoy!

Beverages!

Podcasting is thirsty work; it’s crucial that everyone involved stay hydrated. The following fine beverages contributed to the success of this episode: Special Guest Nick Rogers of Dirty Haggard Audio rocked a Rock Star, in a bold Watermelon Kiwi flavor. Well played... Ed had Stumptown Hair Bender nitro coffee, to go with his...coffee. John had juice again. This time it was Simple Truth apple elderberry. Yeah, you heard right.
