Episode 159 - Special Guest Chuck BB with The DBZ Cavallo
What do you know about black metal? Our very special guest for this episode is Chuck BB - artist and musician. Perhaps you’ve read the graphic novel Black Metal. Or maybe you’ve caught Chuck’s recurring strip Stone Cold Lazy in Decibel Magazine. Chuck guides us out past the black metal breakers, via his own record Nosk of the Void. We’re not ashamed to admit it - we were kinda scared. But all’s well that ends well, and even mental scars heal. Eventually…..
Beverages!
Podcasting is thirsty work; it’s crucial that everyone involved stay hydrated. The following fine beverages contributed to the success of this episode: Ed has secured a new, stronger juicer. This one is the size of a jet engine, except it's louder. But it can juice anything you put in it, for sure. The juicing community has welcomed Ed back, and have graciously decided he can keep his parking space at the annual Juicers Jamboree. John is still practicing sound probiotic health with a juice beverage containing...probiotics. He continues to be hooked on GoodBelly, primarily because it smells like latex paint (which he likes). Additionally, Ed shared some of his fancy juicing skills with John. Impressive... But the star of this show is special guest Chuck BB, fresh off the triumphant release of his very first album Nosk of the Void. Chuck is slinging a bock beer all the way from Denver, Colorado - home of Trve Brewing. For good measure, Chuck's auxiliary beverage is a Coke Zero. This week’s beverage intro song clip, performed (mostly) live in-studio was Take a Chance On Me by Black Metal icons ABBA.
