Episode 244 - Travis Bean TB500JG Jerry Garcia

As if Travis Bean guitars weren’t cool enough already, what with their aluminum necks, and their teth-grinding pickups. No wonder bands like Shellac swear by them. In the 1970s Jerry Garcia of The Grateful Dead even fitted a Travis Bean guitar with an onboard effects loop (OBEL), and idea of his own devising. And now? Travis Bean Designs, by way of the Electrical Guitar Company, has recreated Jerry’s guitar. We plugged in the new TB500JG Jerry Garcia and took it for a spin. Enjoy!
